The Contemporary Austin – Betty and Edward Marcus Sculpture Park at Laguna Gloria

The Betty and Edward Marcus Sculpture Park at Laguna Gloria presents a vibrant, engaging schedule of exhibitions and educational programs for children and adults, within a lush fourteen-acre site along Lake Austin—including woodlands, meadows, formal gardens, waterfront, and a rich array of flora and fauna. The sculpture park currently includes large-scale outdoor sculptures by artists including Tom Friedman, Liam Gillick, John Grade, Nancy Holt, Catherine Lee, Paul McCarthy, Tom Sachs, Marianne Vitale, and Ursula von Rydingsvard.

Laguna Gloria is also home to the historic 1916 Driscoll Villa, the Gatehouse Gallery, and The Contemporary Austin – Art School, which provides students with opportunities to expand their creativity, enhance visual awareness, and cultivate technical skills in a wide variety of media. The school offers classes for ages three through adult in painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, photography, wood and metal working, and more.
